Merci Chocolates: A Delicious Way to Say Thank You – Review and Giveaway #MerciAwards

Did you watch the Oscars last night?
I did.
Even though I don’t get to see movies any longer I still like to watch all of the fuss and nonsense that is the Oscars. OK, to be honest I like to look at the pretty (and not so pretty) dresses too. Most of the winners had been predicted long in advance so when a name was called that was not the expected winner it is fun to see the looks on everyone’s faces.

And poor Jennifer Lawrence. She is going to be remembered for falling up the steps instead of winning the Oscar. That was a LOT of dress. I know I would have toppled over long before she did.

How many of us, as little girls dreamed of being on a stage and accepting a big award? Who cares what kind of award it was – just the thrill of receiving any award. Then there is the thank you speech. I know who I would thank – do you? I would be at the big goat convention winning a big goat award ’cause really, what else is there for me any more but goats? heh

I would like to thank my husband for I know that without his love and support I would not have been able to care for my goats so well. Knowing he was there to lean on gave me the freedom to soar. He always has been and always will be my rock even when I have to leave the goat world. I love you!

Everything I do I know that I do it with the love and support of a very good man. There is amazing freedom in that.

Merci Chocolates lets you send meaningful thank yous all year round! You don’t have to wait for a once a year occasion! These delicious bricks of chocolate – some with nuts, some with yummy fillings are a perfect way to say thank you for moments big and small.

The hubby and I tried them.
I tried more than he did ’cause I’m a chocoholic and not afraid to admit it.

They were yummy! Rich and S.M.O.O.T.H. My favorite was the milk chocolate with the praline filling. They are all gone. Ah-hem – they were all gone almost as soon as they arrived.
*sigh*
I really must learn some self control.

Merci Chocolates sent me a delightful Thank You Red Carpet Kit so I can enjoy future awards parties in style. It came with a guide to giving meaningful toasts and thank yous, 4 champagne flutes and popcorn cups as well as the delicious Merci Chocolates.

I would thank you too.. lol, out of sheer joy.. but I would also turn around and share that joy (and chocolate) with my Co Worker who has listened to all my moaning and complaining about everything under the sun, and he never tells me to shut up.

As soon as I saw these chocolates, I thought of my departed father! He used to leave me those little Ma Cheri chocolates, and sometimes the Ferrero Roche whatevers chocolates. He loved teaching me French, and I in turn loved learning it (studied five years!) so I could parlez-vous francais with him. Merci, ma pere!

    =)
(I know that’s a second comment but I had to share)

You must have missed the after picture when she got back stage RE Jennifer Lawrence if you think the falling up the stairs was the embaresment.

I’d be falling all over thanking you because who wouldn’t when free chocolates involved?
