I am always on the lookout for useful stocking stuffers for the hubby. I have my traditional treats that I include like a chocolate orange and socks. That man runs through socks like you cannot believe! But I like to find different surprises that make his life easier.

When presented with the opportunity to review made from Earth’s Pure Aloe Vera Skin Treatment I knew that this was just such a product. Obviously it wouldn’t make its way into his stocking but it is just the kind of thing I look for. The hubby is a man of fair skin and the sun is not his friend. He was a carrot top but his hair has long turned grey. He is a child of the era of long days in the sun with no protection and has suffered the consequences. He is now ultra-vigilant about sunscreen but there are still days where the sun does its worst.

He is also a firefighter. In fact this product came to me after the worst of summer was over and its test came after the hubby was out on a fire. He came home with something on his neck. He said he didn’t know if an ember had landed there or what but it was red and raw. I gave him the Pure Aloe Vera Skin Treatment to try and he said he felt relief. He used it a couple of days afterward and he said he liked it. He has always been a big fan of aloe for its healing qualities.

The cream is light and has little smell. It goes on smoothly and soaks right into the skin. Here is some info from the site:

The Aloe Vera plant has been used worldwide for more than 4,000 years. Aloe vera is a type of aloe plant and is most effective species. The aloe plant has long and spiked leaves which contain a clear liquid-like substance. Today it is used in cosmetics, skin creams and face treatments. The juice is taken from the aloe leaves which is bitter and contains many vitamins, minerals, and healthy enzymes with amino acids. Aloe face treatments have been proven to reduce wrinkles, and create a younger looking appearance to your face. Since the product is organic and chemical free, it gives oxygen to your skin cells which increases the strength of skin tissue, removing dead skin cells and increasing longevity of sun tans. Aloe provides nutrients so that your skin better holds up to sunlight.

This would make a wonderful gift for the upcoming holiday season so consider checking it out!
