I don’t know about all of you reading this but I have been married for a while. The hubby and I will celebrate our 31st anniversary this February. During all of those years we have had some wonderful vacations but of course one only has one first honeymoon.
I know I’ve mentioned it before but heck, I’ll run it down again just ’cause it was SO MUCH FUN!
Just remember – I was young then, oh so very young. And I hadn’t found my voice. But I got my revenge, people. I GOT MY REVENGE.
Hubby was a skier.
I was not.
Hubby always wanted to go to a place called Greyrocks in Canada. It’s a really good ski school.
Yes – ski school.
For one’s HONEYMOON.
I will admit – he spring for first class airfare. And the deluxe room with a fireplace.
But it went downhill (no pun intended) from there.
He was in the expert class, I in the “who would rather be on the beach in Bermuda” class.
We spent the days in our respective classes.
We ate our meals with our respective classes.
I fell asleep in the bathtub one night I was so freakin’ tired.
I think not.
Maybe I should enter this contest.
We only ever went skiing once after that.
Our other vacations – Hawaii, the Virgin Islands, Hawaii, the Baja.
Note the beach theme?
But back to the reason for this post!
