Yesterday I told you about the Cleanhouse Challenge, a collaboration of Seventh Generation™ and Real Simple magazine. I told you about the very cool box o’Seventh Generation™ that I received to try and described my experiences with several of the products.  Today I am going to  tell you about the rest of the products; the Wood Cleaner, the Granite and Stone Cleaner and the Stainless Steel Cleaner. They are all brand new and come in spiffy packaging that make it easy to see at a glance which one you want to use.

Stone Cleaner -Granite Cleaner -Granite Counter Cleaner

The first one I tried was the Granite and Stone Cleaner as I have a huge expanse of countertop in my kitchen and it sees a myriad of uses from baking to soap making. It is non-toxic and biodegradable and is safe for food preparation surfaces. The first thing I notices was the delightful citrus scent – it comes from essential oils and it certainly brightened my cleaning experience.  The cleaner did an excellent job of getting my counters clean without leaving any kind of residue behind. I was very pleased with this product.

Stainless Steel Cleaner -Clean Stainless Steel -Stainless Cleaner

I am one of those weird types that don’t like stainless steel appliances so I don’t have them in my home. I know – I don’t know what it is but I just find them cold. My appliances are black. My dehydrator is stainless though and the Stainless Steel Cleaner came just as it was time to clean it up and put it away for the season. It did a wonderful job of leaving this vital appliance sparkling clean and streak free. My husband doesn’t mess around when he buys me something I need for the kitchen – my dehydrator is professional grade and 100% stainless.

Wood Cleaner -Clean Wood -Natural Wood Cleaner

I used the Wood Cleaner on my cabinets and my dining room table. This had a lovely scent too – lemon and chamomile and it did a great job on both surfaces. I don’t use aerosols any longer and the pump bottle worked great (on all three products.)

I was very happy with these products from Seventh Generation™ and I know they will become part of my cleaning routine.

  1. says

I would like to try the wood cleaner first because I am very fond of my cabinets, tables and chairs, and I love how they look when they are nice and clean.

  2. says

I’d like the wood cleaner – I have some old furniture I’d like to clean up & use plus a lot of wood floors that have some spots that would benefit from some attention.
