Let me begin by stating that there are numerous cat beds, loungers, etc., in the yurt for the very spoiled Farm cats. That does not stop them from wanting the one that is currently occupied by any other given cat at that given moment.
Particularly Harry and Sherpa. It usually goes something like this:
Harry the Farm cat is sleeping peacefully on the cat tree enjoying the sun. We don’t see much sun in these parts in the winter so when it does show up they all want to find the best spots. Now with sliding glass doors and five big windows there are plenty of opportunities for sun puddles. Even though there is another place to sleep on the cat tree Sherpa only wants the one that is currently occupied.
So therefore Sherpa goes up to “discuss: his concerns with Harry. Harry of course, just wants to sleep in the sun.
Harry wants Sherpa to go somewhere else and leave him alone.
This is not far enough away Sherpa. JUST LET ME SLEEP!
I thought for a bit that Sherpa would leave him alone but I should have known better. Sherpa cannot resist licking Harry.
Harry does not like being licked.
I gave up. I figured they would sort it out and I was right. A little while later it was very quiet. Too quiet.
They were sound asleep until I walked over to take their photo.
I will never understand cats.
