This post is brought to you by the upcoming release of Chendell: A Natural Warrior by Leslie I. Landis. It will be out in audiobook later this summer.
I was sent a gift box from the publisher to celebrate the announcement that Alicia Silverstone and Adrian Grenier will be narrating Chendell for the audiobook release. Isn’t that exciting? You can read all about it HERE. After you read the exciting news check out my video of the fun inside my box:
About Chendell: A Natural Warrior
A super boy from a village in China and a super girl from rural Vermont meet in college and fall in love. Both grapple with their unique powers and purpose. Will they master their abilities in time to save each other and the ecosystem from certain destruction? And what twists does life have in store?
Please join author Leslie Landis in her exciting fiction debut and discover the journey of CHENDELL. This original and delightfully thrilling adventure is a fresh, global love story for the ages, and for the age of Now.
CHENDELL gives birth to two of the most intriguing and relevant eco warriors in current round adult fiction. A super couple of unique advantage—Jamie Chen can talk to plants and trees, Robin Dell can control insects. Both are passionate about nature. They are full of potential and poised for action. But what happens in the Peruvian rainforest that transforms their lives (and consciousness) forever?
Kirkus Reviews said, “A lively nature-oriented superhero adventure…the heart of the tale comes together in the final pages.”

Helping to Save the Planet:
Here in the yurt we try to be as eco friendly as we can. The hubby is passionate about climate change; he works hard with a group called 350Montana. He researches and works hard to help fight the problem. We try many small steps here to be gentle on the Earth – I wrote about one small change the other day when I shared our switch to bamboo kitchen utensils.
I don’t know about you but I am not a big fan of bugs. I tend to scream, squish and ask questions later. The hubby on the other hand gently removes them to the outside. He is quite intrigued with the bug catcher that was sent in the Chendell gift box. Harry the Farm cat is less intrigued….
Stay tuned! My review for Chendell: A Natural Warrior will be up on June 21st. When I know the date of the audiobook release I will update this post to include it.
