I am thrilled to have found a new home management tool called HomeZada. It’s available in two different tiers -Essentials and Premium – each level offering a myriad of great tools. The Essentials platform (free) is a system to manage your home inventory and contacts as well as providing you with news and recommendations. The Premium platform ($5.95 month/$59 year) allows you to manage multiple homes with sections for home maintenance, home finances, all of the Essentials platform and something near and dear to my heart – home improvement projects.
I think HomeZada will help me get the yurt finished!
Before the end of my natural life!
Something I never thought I’d see.
As many of you know the hubby built our little round house and I made him promise it would be finished before we moved in ’cause I knew if we moved in before he completed it he never would. But after THREE YEARS of building I really needed to get out of the trailer so I relented. And now four more years later I still have no trim, no finished computer room and some of the flooring is still sitting in its packaging waiting to go down in the hallway and on the steps. I won’t even discuss what is supposed to be my laundry room.
So how will the HomeZada Home Improvements section to help me get that trim? (And everything else I would like done around this place.) Well, I can think of a couple ways to start:
1. I can create a list of all of the projects that need to be completed. The HomeZada site lets me calculate how much the project might cost and what materials will be needed. I can gather all of the information and present it in a pretty little package to give to the hubby.
2. I can plan the projects out in HomeZada‘s project planning calendar so that I can let the hubby know that he can get my little honeydo tasks done when it is not fire season so he has no excuses.
I love that I can have everything I need in one convenient location. I can add all of my “finishing the yurt” jobs and then I can hopefully add the next level of tasks. Like getting my pictures hung on the walls.
In my lifetime? Hope springs eternal as they say….
I also think the Home Inventory is a very important feature given that I might have to evacuate in short order during fire season. With everything documented and accounted for in one location it would be one less thing to worry about if the worst happened. It’s bad enough having to deal with insurance issues but at least if you have an accurate record of what you had in your house you are one step ahead.
I’m glad I was introduced to HomeZada and am going to take advantage of all they have to offer. If I had one I’d take advantage of the HomeZada Smartphone App but I don’t so I’ll leave that up to all of you technologically adept people.
If you have a home HomeZada can help you with managing the tasks that need doing – the tasks that you keep putting off but you know you need you have to do. The inventory management tool can give you peace of mind in the event of a disaster. There is a lot on offer at HomeZada go check it out – I’m sure you will find it helpful.
