The beginning of a New Year is prime time for bringing in new office supplies especially calendars. I have to keep track of a lot of book reviews, product reviews and the like. I was using a small calendar but when it came time for a 2014 Calendar I knew I wanted something bigger. Small just wasn’t cutting it for me any longer. I am still a paper and pen girl so the big House of Doolittle Desk Calender suited my needs perfectly.
That is, when I can see it.
Harry the Farm Cat is checking my schedule for me. So Harry, what is on tap for today?
A review of the House of Doolittle Calendar and Business Planner?
Thanks for the assistance Harry. I can take it from here….
Really, I can.
I love the desk calendar. It presents me with a month at a time and I can write in my posts for both blogs and there is room to spare. There is a section off to the side where I can make notes and track expenses and the like. The picture is purposely fuzzy….
I love that the paper is recycled but that doesn’t mean it isn’t sturdy. It has a nice, smooth feel and despite my turning and flipping and flipping and turning it has not torn or shown signs of wear. And I have been flipping around in it for a good bit. I like that the year at a glance is at the bottom so I can quickly find a date if I need it.
I haven’t used the business planner as much yet. That will come more into play with soap orders. I am planning to utilize that for Pricilla’s shop. It will help me plan out her favor orders and (hopefully) keep my inventory straight. Heaven knows keeping inventory straight is the bane of my existence. I don’t think there is anything available in office stationary that can do that for me. I can let you know that it is well put together with a double ring binding. So much better than the single rings that can get caught on things and just pull apart. The paper is recycled and of good quality.
Shoplet.com does have a large selection that can help any small business though, from the calendar and business planner I have shown you to a full array of promotional products and that stationary. They even make promotional shirts.
I wonder if Pricilla would wear one?
THAT would be a photograph!
