Please welcome Jori Sams today as she tours with her book, What Every Woman Should Know.
Since I could form sentences, I have felt the need to express myself through words. Over the years, this has come in the shape of poetry, children’s stories, short stories, novellas, novels, Bible studies, music and now non-fiction. This is a genre I would never have attempted without the prompting of the Holy Spirit! Never in a thousand lifetimes would I have guessed that I would set out to tackle such a feat.
Using painting as an example, I look at the recreational paintings I have done over the years. They are alright. Painting is an outlet of mine, but not a burning passion in my bosom. Except for one series I have done. The vision to pursue creating this series fell upon me during a moment of extreme hardship during prayer and meditation. It all came together quite quickly, right down to the size of the canvas.
This series is like none I have ever set the brush to!
So it is the same for me with What Every Woman Should Know. The drive to put down all I had learned came upon me during a private time of praise and worship. I was completely overwhelmed with the compelling, not knowing which step to take first or how to organize such a compilation of thought and fact.
But it unfolded painlessly and in great order, covering territory and subjects I myself would never have considered. It is my prayer that women all across the globe would benefit from the book. I am interested to know if it has had any effect on women, too.

About the Book:
About the Author:
I have spent a good portion of my life writing. Writing anything. It began with poems, then short stories, novellas, film scripts, novels, Bible studies, children’s stories. Somewhere in the mix, add singer-songwriter. And, of course, the many years of freelance journalism. Most recently, I have written over 1000 pieces for Yahoo alone.
Just give me a topic and I will string some words together as eloquently as possible.
I can now add author of non-fiction to the list. I did not ever think I could tackle all my thoughts and piece them together in a logical sense in this genre. But when God guides, He provides…
So the journey began. My discoveries were astounding. I spent much time in prayer and meditation as I wrote this book, taking it slowly, one epiphany at a time. My prayer is that it is liberating for every woman.
