I am so excited!
My living room furniture arrived – unexpectedly.
When we bought it we were told 6 to 8 weeks which would have put its arrival at the end of July.
The phone rang (a lot as you will see) on Friday morning and the woman we were working with at Modory in Missoula called to say it was in and did we want it delivered Friday or Saturday.
Talk about service!
Friday, of course!
The dining room furniture we ordered the same day is also in and will be arriving on Thursday.
Friday was a great day for phone calls. Once the dining room furniture is in, WE can move in!
I was working my shift at the food bank when the furniture arrived so I didn’t have the fun of delivery but here it is…
The color is of course slightly different than I was expecting ’cause I was working from a swatch on the computer but that’s OK, I really do like it. It goes with the blue in the living room and works well enough with the red in the kitchen.
The room is small so we bought a loveseat – it came with loads of pillows. I wasn’t expecting that!
and a comfy chair. We share the ottoman. So do the cats. They fight over it actually.
Hubby hung the TV. You can see we are still a bit of a construction zone but it is just nice to have it start feeling like a home.
But you can see we still have a bit of a lack in the furniture department. No end table. It looks a bit empty, doesn’t it?
I was looking around and I discovered Furniture Exchange. They have a variety of different tables and chests and I found myself browsing and liking what I saw. There were several end tables that caught my eye.
